Description

A delightful high-protein dish featuring succulent shrimp coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring to coat.
  6. Serve immediately with steamed rice or your favorite vegetables.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet; cook shrimp in batches for even cooking. Add chili flakes for a spicy kick or substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for variety.
