Description

A delightful dish featuring flaky halibut topped with a crispy herb crust made from fresh parsley, basil, and dill, complemented by Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 halibut fillets
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the halibut fillets on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Press the herb mixture onto the top of each fillet to create a crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your gourmet meal.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider broiling the fillets for the last minute of cooking. Use fresh herbs for the best flavor, and feel free to experiment with different herbs or spices.
