Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta (such as linguine or fettuccine)
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and asparagus to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and asparagus is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and combine.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and toss again.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
