Description

A simple and flavorful way to prepare salmon, baking it in foil preserves moisture and infuses it with garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil.
  3. Top each fillet with butter, minced garlic, lemon slices, and fresh herbs.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold the foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet.
  6. Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the fillets; thicker fillets may need a few extra minutes. For a crispier texture, open the packets for the last few minutes of cooking.
