Description
A simple and flavorful way to prepare salmon, baking it in foil preserves moisture and infuses it with garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil.
- Top each fillet with butter, minced garlic, lemon slices, and fresh herbs.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Fold the foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the fillets; thicker fillets may need a few extra minutes. For a crispier texture, open the packets for the last few minutes of cooking.
