Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs. medium shrimp
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 ½ tsp. paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (divided)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (divided)
- 6 tsp. minced garlic
Instructions
- Heat one tablespoon of olive oil and six tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until it turns brown but does not burn.
- Pour the garlic sauce into a bowl to keep it warm.
- Toss the shrimp in a mixing bowl with flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Return to the skillet, adding the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and two tablespoons of butter.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the garlic sauce back into the skillet with the cooked shrimp and toss everything together.
- Serve the shrimp over a bed of white sticky rice.
Notes
For a fresh kick, add a splash of lemon or lime juice just before serving.
