Description

Sizzling shrimp on a hot grill creates a flavorful and quick dish that is perfect for summer gatherings or casual dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Skewers (if grilling)

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers if using.
  5. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider basting the shrimp with leftover marinade while grilling. Use wooden skewers? Soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
