Description

A flavorful and visually delightful dish featuring grilled shrimp and asparagus topped with a rich creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Toss the shrimp and asparagus in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Grill the asparagus until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Lower the heat, add the heavy cream, and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice until smooth.
  8. Serve the grilled shrimp over asparagus, drizzled with creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, soak wooden skewers for the shrimp in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. Experiment with spices and herbs for added flavor.
