Description

Delicious grilled octopus marinated in lemon, garlic, and smoked paprika, perfect for outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 octopus (about 2 pounds)
  • 2 lemons (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the octopus and cook for about 30 minutes until tender. Remove and let cool.
  3. Mix lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Remove the skin and beak from the octopus once it’s cool enough to handle.
  5. Cut the octopus into tentacles and marinate in the lemon mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Experiment with various marinades and ensure the grill is properly preheated for the best results.
