Description

Succulent grilled oysters topped with a rich garlic butter mixture, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces fresh oysters, cleaned and scrubbed
  • Crushed ice for serving
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your grill by preheating it to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Mix well, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place the cleaned oysters directly on the grill.
  4. Generously spoon the garlic butter mixture over each oyster.
  5. Close the grill lid and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the butter to melt and the oysters to cook through.
  6. Carefully remove the oysters from the grill using tongs. Let them cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve on a bed of crushed ice, garnished with lemon wedges and additional chopped parsley.

Notes

Ensure the grill’s grates are clean before cooking to prevent sticking. A grill basket can be used for easier handling.
