Succulent grilled oysters topped with a rich garlic butter mixture, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12 pieces fresh oysters, cleaned and scrubbed
- Crushed ice for serving
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Prepare your grill by preheating it to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Mix well, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the cleaned oysters directly on the grill.
- Generously spoon the garlic butter mixture over each oyster.
- Close the grill lid and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the butter to melt and the oysters to cook through.
- Carefully remove the oysters from the grill using tongs. Let them cool slightly before serving.
- Serve on a bed of crushed ice, garnished with lemon wedges and additional chopped parsley.
Notes
Ensure the grill’s grates are clean before cooking to prevent sticking. A grill basket can be used for easier handling.
