Description

Delicious grilled fish tacos with fresh toppings, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • Sour cream or crema (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them sit for about 15 minutes.
  4. Grill the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing grilled fish on tortillas and topping with cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and optional sour cream and hot sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.
