Description

A flavorful and impressive glazed salmon recipe featuring a sticky, sweet, and savory glaze made with soy sauce, brown sugar, and lime.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Heat the mixture on low for about 5 minutes until the glaze becomes sticky.
  3. Add butter and swirl to combine for 20 seconds.
  4. Pour the glaze over the salmon fillet, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  6. Air fry the glazed salmon for 12-14 minutes until the top is crispy and caramelized.
  7. Serve over coconut rice, garnished with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate salmon in a portion of the glaze for about 30 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on air fryer model.
