A flavorful and impressive glazed salmon recipe featuring a sticky, sweet, and savory glaze made with soy sauce, brown sugar, and lime.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
- Heat the mixture on low for about 5 minutes until the glaze becomes sticky.
- Add butter and swirl to combine for 20 seconds.
- Pour the glaze over the salmon fillet, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Air fry the glazed salmon for 12-14 minutes until the top is crispy and caramelized.
- Serve over coconut rice, garnished with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate salmon in a portion of the glaze for about 30 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on air fryer model.
