Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) cod fillets (450 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce (60 milliliters)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey (30 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh ginger, grated (15 grams)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) rice vinegar (15 milliliters)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame oil (5 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the cod fillets for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
- Pour the ginger soy mixture over the cod fillets in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
