A flavorful and healthy seafood dish featuring cod with a rich ginger soy glaze.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 1 handful fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 lime, cut into wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the soy ginger glaze evenly over each fillet, making sure they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and transfer the cod fillets to serving plates.
- Garnish with thinly sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy!

For a more robust taste, marinate the cod in the soy sauce mixture for 30 minutes before baking.
