Description

Learn how to make delicious Garlic Shrimp Scampi Pasta with this easy recipe. Perfect for a quick and flavorful meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 (227 g) package angel hair pasta (8 oz)
  • 120 g butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 680 g shrimp, peeled and deveined (1 1/2 lbs)
  • 80 ml white grape juice (1/3 cup)
  • 180 ml dry bread crumbs (3/4 cup)
  • 45 g grated Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and let the water return to a boil. Cook the pasta until it is just tender yet firm to the bite. Drain the pasta thoroughly.
  2. In a large pan, melt the butter and sauté the sliced garlic until it softens. Remove the garlic from the pan and discard it. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink. Pour in the white grape juice and mix well. Gradually add the dry bread crumbs, stirring until you achieve the desired thickness.
  3. Place the shrimp mixture over the cooked angel hair pasta and finish by sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Try using whole wheat angel hair pasta for an extra flavor boost.
  • Toast bread crumbs in a pan for a crispier texture in the shrimp mixture.
  • Give the dish a citrusy kick by adding fresh lemon juice to the shrimp.
