Description

Baking halibut fillets in a crispy garlic parmesan crust transforms an ordinary meal into something extraordinary, offering gourmet flavor in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place halibut fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Press the parmesan breadcrumb mixture firmly on top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over the fillets before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add crushed red pepper to the crust or mix in fresh herbs like dill or thyme.
