Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Garlic Parmesan Crusted Halibut featuring a crunchy topping and tender fish, perfect for impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Generously press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added flavor, consider toasting the panko breadcrumbs lightly before mixing. You can also add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or experiment with herbs like dill or thyme.
