Description

A quick and delicious garlic parmesan crusted halibut recipe that’s ready in just 15 minutes, perfect for weeknight meals or entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the halibut fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Press the parmesan breadcrumb mixture firmly on top of each fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over the fillets before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs. Fresh herbs can enhance the flavor profile even further, and a touch of broiling can achieve a perfect golden crust.
