Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (907 g) langoustines (about 900 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil (115 grams)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt (1.5 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (0.5 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (8 grams)
  • 1 lemon, sliced for garnish


Instructions

  1. Rinse the langoustines under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the langoustines to the skillet in a single layer.
  6. Cook the langoustines for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the langoustines.
  8. Remove from heat and transfer the langoustines to a serving platter.
