Ingredients
- 1 pound shelled and deveined shrimp
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 dashes cayenne pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp with cold water. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a skillet (preferably cast-iron) over medium heat. Add the olive oil and melted butter.
- Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté until it turns slightly brown.
- Stir in the shrimp and cook until they begin to turn pink.
- Add the honey, lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper to the skillet.
- Cook until the honey lime sauce thickens, allowing all the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

For best flavor, use fresh shrimp. Serve with jasmine rice or a crisp green salad.
