Description

A quick and cozy garlic butter shrimp scampi pasta that combines rich flavors for a delightful dining experience.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ cup lemon juice (fresh for maximum flavor)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in fresh lemon juice and toss in the drained pasta. Mix until well combined.
  6. Stir in chopped parsley for added flavor and freshness.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Try not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking shrimp.
