Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup lemon juice (fresh for maximum flavor)
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
