Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) Fettuccine
  • 1 lb (450 g) Shrimp
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 tbsp (60 ml) Butter
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Cooking Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper


Instructions

  1. In a large pot filled with salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine until it reaches an al dente texture, then drain thoroughly and set it aside.
  2. In a skillet, warm the cooking oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic for about 2 minutes until it releases its aroma.
  3. Incorporate the butter into the same skillet and cook the shrimp, stirring occasionally, until they become opaque white with a hint of pink, approximately 4-6 minutes.
  4. Introduce the lemon juice, lemon zest, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well combined and the cheese has melted.
  5. Add the fettuccine to the skillet, stirring until it is evenly coated.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle with parsley as a garnish.
