Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil and half the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
- Increase heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the pan.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the remaining butter until melted and well combined.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
