Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh sea scallops
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the scallops and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for an additional minute, spooning the garlic butter over the scallops.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Ensure scallops are completely dry before cooking for better browning. Experiment with herbs for added flavor.
