Description

A comforting and indulgent pasta dish featuring tender salmon in a rich garlic butter sauce, enhanced with lemon and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the lemon juice and zest. Toss to combine.
  7. Flake the salmon and add it back to the pasta. Toss gently to combine.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a crispier texture, consider searing the salmon skin-side down first. Always taste as you go to adjust the seasoning.
