Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 salmon fillets
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the lemon juice and zest. Toss to combine.
- Flake the salmon and add it back to the pasta. Toss gently to combine.
- Serve garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a crispier texture, consider searing the salmon skin-side down first. Always taste as you go to adjust the seasoning.
