Description

A luxurious seafood dish featuring tender lobster tails baked with a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 tails lobster tails (rock lobster tails can be substituted)
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper (fresh cracked recommended)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (can substitute with ghee for non-dairy)
  • 3 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (lime zest can be used as an alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked adds depth)
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or any seafood seasoning blend)
  • Garlic powder (optional for flavor)
  • Onion powder (optional for flavor)
  • Fresh parsley (can substitute with chives)
  • Lemon wedges (for acidity)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Gather ingredients: garlic, butter, and spices.
  3. Prepare the lobster tails by cutting them down the middle.
  4. Heat butter in a small saucepan and add grated garlic, sautéing for a minute.
  5. Mix in lemon zest, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, and optional spices.
  6. Season the lobster meat with salt and pepper.
  7. Spoon the garlic butter mixture over the lobster tails.
  8. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet, flesh side up, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Broil the tails for the last few minutes for a golden finish.
  10. Garnish with parsley or chives, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, ensure lobster tails are fresh. Avoid overcooking to keep the meat tender.
