Description

A delicious garlic butter lemon salmon recipe that’s quick to prepare and perfect for any dinner table, combining rich flavors with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (68 ounces each, skin on or off)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (plus lemon slices for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic butter mixture to the pan and allow the butter to melt, infusing it with garlic flavors.
  3. Once melted, place the salmon fillets in the skillet. They should sizzle on contact.
  4. Cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on one side until they begin to turn opaque and develop a golden crust.
  5. Carefully flip the fillets with a spatula and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
  6. Drizzle additional garlic butter sauce over the salmon for extra flavor.
  7. Remove from skillet and serve garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and lemon juice for the best flavor. Let the salmon rest a few minutes after cooking for optimal moisture.
