Description

A delightful and simple seafood dish combining rich garlic, buttery flavors, and zesty lemon that warms the heart and elevates any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-8 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the softened unsalted butter in your skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  2. Carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes without moving them to allow a crust to form.
  3. Flip the fillets gently with a spatula, then pour in the fresh lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and add dried oregano. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Plate the salmon and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve with sides like fluffy rice or seasonal vegetables, and enjoy within 2-3 days for optimal freshness.
