Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each, skin on or off)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking tray. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with lemon slices before serving.
