Description

Sizzling garlic butter transforms Ahi Tuna steaks into a seafood lover’s dream, creating a light yet indulgent dish in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ahi Tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Carefully place the tuna steaks in the hot skillet.
  5. Sear the tuna for 1-3 minutes per side, depending on your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, sear for about 1-2 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For optimum results, ensure the Ahi Tuna is at room temperature before cooking. Let the tuna rest after removing it from the skillet for better texture.
