Description

Ahi Tuna steaks seared in garlic butter, offering a gourmet experience in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ahi Tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Carefully place the tuna steaks in the hot skillet.
  5. Sear the tuna for 1-3 minutes per side depending on your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
