Ingredients

- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s olive oil (30 milliliters)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)
Instructions
- Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the scallops to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry the scallops for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Check for doneness; the scallops should be opaque and slightly firm to the touch.
- Remove the scallops from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the cooked scallops.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
