Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup fish taco sauce
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- Shredded cabbage
- Fresh lime wedges
- Chopped cilantro
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to create the seasoning mixture.
- Dredge each piece of white fish thoroughly in the seasoned flour.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the dredged fish and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or oven.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a piece of fish in each tortilla, topping with shredded cabbage, fish taco sauce, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
Notes
