Description

Delicious fish tacos featuring crispy fish, fresh veggies, and creamy sauce, capturing the essence of coastal dining.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the fish with salt and pepper and cook it on a grill or skillet over medium heat until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. In a bowl, mix together cabbage, carrots, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make the slaw.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and lime juice to create the creamy sauce.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a piece of fish on each tortilla, topping with slaw, a drizzle of the creamy sauce, and slices of avocado.
  6. Serve with extra lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Try marinating the fish in lime juice for extra flavor, and use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
