Description

Delicious fish tacos bursting with flavor and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fish taco sauce by mixing sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and hot sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Season the white fish fillets with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Warm corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing cooked fish on each tortilla, topping with cabbage, avocado, and cilantro.
  6. Drizzle fish taco sauce over the top and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings. Adding diced tomatoes or pickled onions can enhance the flavor profile.
