Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lime wedges, for serving
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the fish taco sauce by mixing sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and hot sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
- Season the white fish fillets with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Warm corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos by placing cooked fish on each tortilla, topping with cabbage, avocado, and cilantro.
- Drizzle fish taco sauce over the top and serve with lime wedges.
