Description

These vibrant fish tacos combine tender fish, crunchy cabbage, and creamy toppings for a delightful summer meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the fish taco sauce.
  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Cook the fish in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  4. To assemble, place some fish on each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and drizzle with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.

Notes

Experiment with different toppings like diced tomatoes or hot sauce to customize your tacos.
