Description

A vibrant, refreshing slaw made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and cilantro, tossed in fresh lime juice. Perfect as a taco topping or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 small green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes


Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cabbage, carrot, and onion.
  2. Chop the cilantro.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the sliced vegetables and cilantro with fresh lime juice.
  4. Serve immediately as a topping for tacos, in burrito bowls, or as a refreshing side dish.

Notes

Keep lime juice fresh by squeezing just before adding. Taste before serving and adjust lime or add a pinch of salt if necessary.
