Ingredients
- 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded green cabbage
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Toss the shrimp in a bowl with chili powder, salt, and pepper, then let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by adding shredded cabbage to each tortilla, followed by the cooked shrimp, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
- Drizzle lime-infused sour cream on top and serve immediately with additional lime wedges.
