Description

Delicious shrimp tacos with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that celebrate coastal living.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Toss the shrimp in a bowl with chili powder, salt, and pepper, then let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos by adding shredded cabbage to each tortilla, followed by the cooked shrimp, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  6. Drizzle lime-infused sour cream on top and serve immediately with additional lime wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños or a spicy salsa to your toppings.
