Description

A flavorful shrimp boil recipe perfect for gatherings, combining shrimp, corn, and potatoes with zesty seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1 pound small potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears corn, halved
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Water, enough to cover vegetables
  • Melted butter, for serving
  • Fresh lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large pot, combine enough water to cover the vegetables, Old Bay seasoning, and minced garlic.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add the halved potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Next, add the corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Drain the pot and serve the shrimp boil on a large platter lined with parchment paper or newspaper.
  8. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding crushed red pepper. Storing leftovers in an airtight container allows them to last up to three days.
