Description

A delightful one-pan dish featuring salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and savory maple sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a splash of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the salmon fillets to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. During the last few minutes of cooking, pour the maple glaze over the salmon, allowing it to caramelize.
  6. Serve the salmon hot, drizzled with additional glaze if desired.

Notes

Experiment with the glaze by adding red pepper flakes for heat or fresh herbs for a twist. Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
