Ingredients
- Cod fillets
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh lemon juice
- Lemon zest
- Fresh garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned, approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Place the cod fillets in the greased baking dish. Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh parsley for garnish.
Notes
Don’t overcook the fish and use fresh ingredients for best results.
