Description

A delightful cod recipe featuring a ginger soy marinade that captures the essence of seaside dining.

Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Rice, veggies, or sweet potatoes for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, honey, garlic, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
  2. Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Marinate the cod in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
  5. Add the cod fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until flaky and cooked through.
  6. Serve the cod over rice, veggies, or sweet potatoes.

Notes

Optionally, add a splash of lime juice for extra freshness. Consider grilling or using an air fryer for alternative cooking methods.
