Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti

- 1/4 cup (60 ml) beef broth
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup (30 g) grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the spaghetti and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss gently.
- Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired.
