A delightful combination of crispy salmon glazed with honey, garlic, and soy sauce, perfect for any dinner occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 skin-on salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the salmon skin-side down for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the fillets, brush half of the glaze on top, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 145°F).
- Drizzle remaining glaze over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate salmon in the honey-soy-garlic mixture for an hour before cooking. Substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar for a different sweetness profile.
