Description

A delightful shrimp pasta dish featuring a creamy sauce with a kick, perfect for summer evenings.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of spaghetti
  • 1 ½ pounds of medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 teaspoons of paprika
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of dried parsley
  • ⅔ cup of light mayonnaise
  • ½ cup of Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • to ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients together. Allow it to set aside, adjusting the sriracha sauce to your liking.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain the pasta, then return it to the pot and cover to keep warm.
  3. Place the shrimp in a medium bowl. Add olive oil, paprika, 3 cloves of minced garlic, and black pepper. Gently toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
  4. Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Stir constantly while cooking until the shrimp are no longer pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Once the shrimp are cooked, combine them with the spaghetti in the pot. Add ⅔ of the prepared sauce and toss well to coat. Top with dried parsley.
  6. Use the remaining sauce to drizzle over each portion before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh shrimp and serve immediately with extra sauce on the side.
