A quick and satisfying seafood dish featuring garlic butter and large shrimp, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 lemons (sliced)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted or thinly sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (diced)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
- 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (or air fryer to 375°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, diced garlic, Italian seasoning, fresh cracked pepper, and sea salt if desired.
- If baking, lay lemon slices in a baking dish. If air frying, lay lemon slices in the air fryer basket.
- Arrange shrimp on top of the lemon slices, then drizzle the butter mixture over them.
- For the oven, bake for 10-12 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. For the air fryer, air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Notes
For best results, use fresh shrimp and monitor cooking closely to avoid overcooking.
