Description

Learn how to make delicious Easy Baked Lemon Butter Salmon at home with this simple recipe. Perfect for a quick and healthy dinner option!

Ingredients

  • vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 8 (113 g) skinless salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons (60 ml) unsalted butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons (37.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly coat a baking dish with vegetable oil spray, then arrange the salmon fillets inside.
  2. Place the butter in a microwave-safe dish and heat it on high in 30-second bursts until it’s fully melted, taking about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Stir the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper into the melted butter, then drizzle this mixture over the salmon fillets.
  4. Cook in the preheated oven until the salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork, which should take between 12 and 18 minutes.

Notes

  • Season each salmon fillet evenly with salt and pepper before drizzling with the lemon butter mixture for a well-balanced flavor. For a crispy finish, broil the salmon fillets for 2-3 minutes post-baking until golden brown. Add a touch of fresh dill or parsley on top of the cooked salmon for a burst of color and added freshness.
