Ingredients

- Potatoes, 2 pounds (907 g) (900 grams)
- Fresh dill, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (10 grams)
- Lemon, 1
- Olive oil, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters)
- Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
- Garlic cloves, 2
- Sour cream, 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
- Onion, 1 medium
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and slice the potatoes thinly.
- Chop the onion into thin slices.
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- In a large bowl, mix potatoes, onion, and garlic.
- Add olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and mix well.
- Spread the potato mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Place the salmon fillets on top of the potatoes.
- Zest the lemon and sprinkle over the salmon.
- Squeeze the lemon juice over the salmon.
- Chop the fresh dill finely.
- Mix the sour cream with half of the chopped dill.
- Spread the sour cream mixture over the salmon.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with the remaining fresh dill before serving.
