Description

A warm, comforting dish that captures the vibrant flavors of a California roll in a convenient bake, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seasoned rice
  • 1 cup imitation crab, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons furikake seasoning
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Soy sauce, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, spread the seasoned rice evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded imitation crab over the rice.
  4. Sprinkle the furikake seasoning on top.
  5. Arrange the sliced cucumber and avocado on top of the crab.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
  7. Serve warm with soy sauce, if desired.

Notes

For best results, use sushi rice for optimal texture. Let the bake rest briefly after removing from the oven for better flavor settling.
