Description

A comforting baked dish that captures the essence of a California roll with seasoned sushi rice, imitation crab, and creamy avocado.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups seasoned sushi rice
  • 1 lb imitation crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon furikake seasoning
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • Soy sauce for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooled rice, imitation crab, furikake seasoning, mayonnaise, and sriracha if using.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  6. Once out of the oven, top with diced cucumber and avocado.
  7. Serve warm with soy sauce on the side.
