Description

Curry fish combines aromatic spices with tender fish fillets in a rich, creamy sauce, creating a comforting and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons homemade curry powder
  • 1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as cilantro or parsley) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the homemade curry powder and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and soy sauce; stir to combine.
  6. Add the fish fillets and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving. Serve hot with rice.
